"I usually work only in black and gray; I specialize in black and gray. I work somewhere between realism and graphic design so I can use lines that will stand the test of time and ensure the contrast looks right. I use only one shade of black, which I dilute; I don’t use multiple inks, which is why I feel it has a consistent value. I like to work in layers, building them up. In my tattoos, I usually like to add a lot of noise to give the impression that something is always happening, that it's not a static image. I like to make it flow and move continuously."
